If you have a sweet tooth and you’re nutty for almonds, this Omnom bar is a must-try. There’s the tiniest hint of a tang from the Icelandic fermented milk used to make this bar. The almonds are extraordinarily well cooked and have a texture that provides an excellent contrast to that of the smooth, almost fudgy milk chocolate.
Omnom is a small batch artisan chocolate maker based in Reykjavik. Co-founder Kjartan Gíslason worked as a chef across Europe for nearly two decades before discovering bean-to-bar chocolate. He teamed up with his childhood friend Óskar Þórðarson and they started sourcing cacao beans from around the world.
