Seasonal Eating: A Hands-On Cooking Workshop - July 9th

Embrace the flavours of the season and learn the art of cooking with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients in our immersive cooking workshop. Led by seasoned local farmers and eaters from Ferme Agricola, this workshop is designed to inspire you to make the most of what each season has to offer.

Get ready to work hands-on as we guide you through delicious and quick meals using versatile templates, that can be used to fit different seasonal ingredients, and used in multiple types of meals. Learn how to make things like flavourful pestos, whip up quick pickles, master the art of preparing greens for easy incorporation into a variety of meals, and so much more. These fundamental techniques will not only streamline your cooking process but also maximize the use of seasonal ingredients throughout the week.

Tuesday July 9th, 7:00-8:30 + 30 minutes for Q+A and shopping

Bring your knife, apron, and enthusiasm for seasonal cooking!

Our instructor: Agricola Farm is a group of young farmers operating a cooperative farm that produces food sustainably and nourishes our community. They grow fresh organic vegetables and flowers on our 160 acre farm in Papineauville, Quebec.

They believe that food should build community, be ecologically sustainable, and be a pleasure to grow and eat. As a cooperative farm, Agricola seeks to create meaningful work by growing organic food that nourishes our local communities, specifically the Petite Nation and Ottawa.

Classes are non-refundable although participants can be exchanged.
